For Filmmakers

Building one audience together.

A filmmaker with one or two short films may struggle to build the audience needed to qualify for YouTube monetisation alone. By bringing our films together in one curated destination, we can grow one audience, give each film a better chance of being seen, and work towards earning revenue together.

How we help each film

Every selected film gets a proper release.

When a film is selected for Project Drama, we work to give it the best possible chance of finding its audience. That means a strong YouTube release — with a considered thumbnail, title, description, captions, Shorts, and promotion across our channels. We do the release work so filmmakers can focus on the next film.

Revenue share

Earning together.

Filmmakers retain full ownership of their work. When the Project Drama channel is eligible to earn YouTube advertising revenue, each filmmaker receives a share of what their film generates. We don't promise a number of views or that revenue is immediate — but we're building something that grows over time, and the earnings from that growth belong to the filmmakers whose work made it possible.

How it works

Three steps from submission to screen.

Submit a review copy

Send us a 480p MP4 upload or WeTransfer link for files over 100 MB using the submission form. Include your film's title, runtime, logline, and a brief synopsis.

We review the film

Our editorial team watches every submission personally. We'll be in touch if your film is a good fit for Project Drama.

Licence and master

If selected, we send you a formal licence agreement to review and sign, then request a high-quality master for publication. You retain full ownership of your work throughout.

Ownership and exclusivity

Your film. Your rights.

Filmmakers retain ownership of their work. Films selected for Project Drama require YouTube exclusivity under the agreed licence — meaning your film won't appear on other YouTube channels during the licence period. You remain free to screen, distribute, and sell your film through other platforms.
